Why Beckwith: The Proof Behind 44 Years of Commercial Roofing
In-house crews averaging 20 years' experience — the same crews that have installed 1,900+ Duro-Last roofs — plus the safety record, certifications and insurance your facility requires before anyone is allowed on the property.
About our crews
The people who bid the job are the people on your roof.
Our Duro-Last roofs are installed by our own in-house crews. We only do commercial and industrial work, and take pride in the complex projects other contractors won't touch — 1,900+ low-slope roofs and 12,000,000+ square feet of material laid down.

- 20+ years average experience
- Our in-house crew members average 20 years on commercial roofs. The same crews, job to job, year to year.
- Single-ply and metal
- Duro-Last PVC and other single-ply systems, standing-seam metal and metal retrofits — one crew that has installed all of them.
- Facility-aware
- Clean-zone protocols, noise and odor windows, dock and shift schedules built into the plan. Our crews have worked inside food plants, hospitals and running factories.
- One person, start to finish
- The person who inspects, measures and diagnoses your roof is the one who sells the job, orders the material and manages the crew through completion. Our three project leads average 24 years in commercial roofing.
The Beckwith difference
Four things that set the work apart.
Not slogans — practices you can verify on any job we have done.
- 01
Two formal inspections
Every install gets a minimum of two formal inspections after completion: one by us, one by the manufacturer. Any issue, no matter how small, is corrected before a warranty is issued.
- 02
Top 3% workmanship
Duro-Last scores every roof we install. Our 2025 average was 97.41/100 — top 3% of contractors in the nation — and the basis of our Platinum status.
- 03
We don't push replacements
Most roofs are replaced before they need to be. We offer preventative maintenance and capex planning to get the most out of the roof you have.
- 04
Proof, 20 years on
Of 120 Duro-Last roofs we installed 2001–2006 — all 15-year systems — 92% are still in service in 2026. We checked every one.

“Beckwith goes above and beyond and their response time is fantastic. Matthew is super. He is always on top of the job I need done and goes out of his way to fix whatever problem I have even if the leak is not from the roof itself. They will always be my only call for roof issues.”

Questions About Working With Beckwith
Who actually installs the roof?
Our Duro-Last and single-ply work is done by Beckwith's own in-house crews, averaging 20 years' experience. The project lead who surveyed and sold the job manages it through completion — no handoff.
Can you meet our site-access requirements?
Almost certainly. We are active in ISNetworld, GateFeed and Avetta, our crews are DISA-screened, our EMR is 0.76, and we carry $1M general liability plus a $5M umbrella. Documents sent the same day you ask.
What does "two formal inspections" mean in practice?
After completion, your project lead inspects the roof against the manufacturer's specification, then the manufacturer's own inspector does the same. The warranty is issued only after both sign off.
